Contribute to the Creation Fund

Dear friends,

Montréal Danse is delighted to invite you to its benefit event on Thursday April 26, 2018 at 8pm. This one-of-a-kind edition will take you behind the curtains, in the heart of dance-making, as we will share with you no less than two premieres: GROUND, a stage piece for 5 performers by Caroline Laurin-Beaucage, six months ahead of its premiere at L'Agora de la danse, as well as REBO(U)ND, an architectural video projection, a choreography of suspension.

Support dance in its excellence and generosity! Our fundraising campaign is now officially launched! Share the news with your entourage, invite your friends and colleagues to join us. Your donations will make a difference.

The two pieces form a dual evocation of the constraints that define us and bound us together: gravity... and liberty. Ambitious, visceral, touching, they received the exceptional support of the Canada Council for the Arts for extraordinary projects as part of the celebration of Canada's 150th Anniversary. Our friendly and exciting event will take place at Studio bleu in the new Wilder espace danse building. Joins us for a unique, felt experience, in the company of our performers and our artistic collaborators.

This event is brought to you by Montréal Danse’s Board of Directors and the distinguished members of its Honorary Committee. Our heartfelt gratitude to Isabelle Blain (architect), Virginie Dionne-Dostie (lawyer, Jeansonne Avocats Inc.), Marc Germain (consultant, promotion of independant international trade), Danny Lew (legal counsel, Electronic Arts), Sonia Medvescek (CPA, CA., Collins Barrow Montreal S.E.N.C.R.L. / LLP), Joseph Nguyen (senior legal counsel, L'Oréal Canada), Alexandre Prince-Levasseur (senior consultant, Chappuis Halder & Co), Jonathan Terninck (consultant, marketing and business development) for their support and generosity.
